PlateMath: Snap Calories
Robert Corbin
Most calorie apps ask you to search a database, pick a brand, guess a portion, and tap through several screens. PlateMath starts with one thing: a photo. Point your camera at a meal and tap. PlateMath creates a private on-device estimate with calories, macros, item notes, and a confidence level. It is a practical gut-check, not a medical device. Features: - Photograph a plate or choose a photo when available. - Review calorie range, item breakdown, and protein, carbohydrates, and fat. - See confidence and honest notes about what the camera may be guessing. - Set a daily goal and review recent plates. - Add meal tags and notes. - Use optional local reminders when you choose. PlateMath is private by design. No account is required. The developer does not collect meal photos, estimates, history, analytics, or advertising identifiers. A note on accuracy: PlateMath provides food-photo estimates for general information. Always check labels or professional guidance when precision matters.
