SCAN IN ABOUT A MINUTE PER ROOM Walk around a room with your iPhone and Plinth captures walls, doors, windows and furniture using the LiDAR scanner and Apple RoomPlan. Room by room, your home comes together as a measured floor plan and a 3D dollhouse. EXPLORE YOUR HOME IN 3D Orbit the dollhouse, tap any piece of furniture for its width, depth and height, or switch to a clean floor plan with dimensions. Rename items, open any room for its floor area, ceiling height and furniture list. REDESIGN ON YOUR OWN SCAN Pick a room and a style, or describe what you want ("a reading corner by the window", "room for six at the table"), and mark the pieces you want to keep. Plinth suggests the best angles of your room, so you can start right away. You get three ideas, each with: • A photo-real image from the angle you chose • A new layout drawn to scale, checked against your floor, door swings and walkways • Every piece listed with its size and marked on the plan • A palette and a short list of what changes Swipe between ideas, zoom into any photo and hold to see your room as it is today. TAP ANYTHING TO CHANGE IT Not quite right? Tap the sofa in the photo and make it velvet, olive green or leather. Repaint the walls, change the floor, warm up the light, or take a piece out. Or just describe the change in your own words. Every change is saved as a version: compare before and after with a slider, and undo with one tap. Nothing leaves the device unless you ask for redesign ideas, and then only the room you chose is sent to create them. Ideas are saved on your device. GOOD TO KNOW • Scanning needs an iPhone with a LiDAR scanner (iPhone 12 Pro and later Pro models). Without LiDAR you can still explore the included sample home. • AI images are for mood, not measurement; the layout and the piece sizes are the measured part. • Mirrors, glass and heavy clutter can reduce scan accuracy.
