Find a line in your photos. Draw a curve, a zigzag, or a simple line. Retroline finds similar contours in photos from your own library and brings them onto an open canvas. A mountain ridge, a shoreline, an everyday detail—see your photos through their shapes. DRAW TO DISCOVER Trace a line with your finger and find photos with a similar shape. Try different curves and let your library surprise you. FOLLOW THE PATH Switch to Drag and explore a continuous path of photos. Move with your finger or use the joystick at the bottom right. SEE THE MOMENT View a photo’s capture date and place name when its metadata is available. Missing details stay out of the way. MADE FOR YOUR LIBRARY Retroline indexes photos available on your device and picks up new or changed photos while the app is active. The progress bar shows indexing and hides while you draw. PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE Contour extraction and matching happen on your device. No account, ads, subscription, or in-app purchases. Photo coordinates are sent to Apple only to look up place names. Requires Full Access to Photos and iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Photos stored only in iCloud must first be downloaded in Photos. Clear outlines and contrasting edges work best.
