NoMedia hides images and videos in Safari on the sites you choose. Pick a mode. Hide media everywhere, then allow the sites you still want to see. Or leave the web as it is, and block only the sites you add. Photos and videos can be set separately, so a site can show pictures and still hide video, or the other way around. Click the NoMedia button in the Safari toolbar to show or hide media on the site you are visiting. Right-click a hidden image or video and choose “Show this image / video” to reveal just that one. You can also block or allow a single file for this visit, or permanently. Choose what to hide: photos, GIFs, and image buttons; background images such as banners; logos and illustrations; and video players. Small icons stay visible so buttons and menus still work. Hidden videos are paused and muted. A gray placeholder keeps the page layout, or use a heavy blur. Strict mode leaves media hidden, with no menu to reveal a single item, and can stop images and videos on blocked pages from downloading. Pause NoMedia everywhere from the toolbar, then turn it back on when you want. Save your settings, site lists, and permanent per-file choices to a file and restore them later. If iCloud is on for Safari, those settings can sync to your other Apple devices. This copy stays separate from NoMedia on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. NoMedia does not change files you open from your Mac. Private Browsing stays off until you allow NoMedia in Safari Settings, under Extensions.
