focusdeep is a smart focus and digital wellbeing app that helps you cut distractions and stay in flow. With time and location rules, you can automatically limit access to distracting apps during work, study or sleep. ◆ Three focus modes • Manual Mode – Quickly enable or disable focus rules for selected app groups. • Time Mode – Schedule focus sessions (e.g., 09:00–12:00 on weekdays) and let focusdeep automatically restrict distracting apps at those times. • Location Mode – Use geofences to apply rules when you arrive at places like the library, office or home. ◆ How it works focusdeep uses Apple’s Screen Time / Family Controls framework: • You pick the apps or categories you want to manage with FamilyActivityPicker. • focusdeep applies Screen Time restrictions through the official ManagedSettings APIs. • A Device Activity extension allows time-based rules to run even when the main app is closed. All changes are fully under your control: you can edit, pause or delete any rule at any time. ◆ Permissions explained • Screen Time / Family Controls: required to limit access to apps you select, in order to reduce distractions and support focus. • Location “Always” (optional): used only for location-based rules, to check if you have entered or left your defined areas. Location is processed locally for geofencing and is not uploaded. • Face ID / Touch ID (optional): protects your focus rules so others cannot change them without your permission. Biometric data is handled by iOS and never accessed by focusdeep. ◆ Privacy • No user data is uploaded to servers. • No third-party analytics, ads or tracking SDKs. • All configuration data (groups, schedules, locations, preferences) is stored locally on your device. focusdeep is designed purely to help you build better focus habits, reduce time-wasting app usage and improve your digital wellbeing.
